If this happens, seeing the rest of the players reactions when he turns up to training is going to be something else! Foden will think he‘s dreaming! Be interesting to see the Ronaldo / Dias dynamic, because Dias acts like a captain in waiting, Ronaldo is his national team captain, and is he going to knuckle down if Fernandinho has a go?! My guess is there will be an extended honeymoon period, once he starts banging them in he’ll start demanding the ball more.
And what about the Pep-Ronaldo dynamic? probably the first time he will have played under a manager who has as many trophies as him, there’s sure to be a high level of respect both ways.
All in all, the coming weeks could well be a very interesting watch!

You've seen his scoring record last season right? Outscored lukaku who has just gone for £100 million by 5 and had 8 more than vlahovic who we were looking at for £70 million and 12 more than martinez. And that's in a side that wasn't the best team in the league last year either by the way.

He's 36, of course he's past his best but when his best is so unbelievably far ahead of everybody else bar Messi, you can still be the best player in the league without even trying at his age.
