Never understand this ' set to make a bid', how does the bid arrive, why does it take an age etc?. Does the selling club actually brace themselves for a bid? All very odd

Agree with all of that except the bit about Ruban

He is the sort of person who will take control...no matter who is in front of him....regardless of Ronaldo's (or anyone elses status), Dias is a player who takes charge....he is a born leader like Vinnie Kompany

In any case, this could be a really decisive day for Ronaldo's future. Mendes wanted to close in a couple of days, the deadline will expire shortly and Juve is expecting the official offer from City. The minimum accepted is 25 million.

Probably he could go to the MLS for telephone numbers a week, he rates himself better than that.

to be fair that possibility has ran through my mind....I reckon there will be emergency meetings today at utd (an possibly last night)....they know if we do get Ronaldo we will trample on a huge part of their history, their fans backlash will be huge.....there is no way they can be seem to let Ronaldo come here without putting up some resistance to it and trying to get him

Who knows he may go there

This deal could well be done,or not....FFS,something for sure not just those feckin "could" ,or "if".... :( I just dont like Ronaldo as a person,too feckin arrogant ,but he is a PROFESSIONAL goal scorer ,and I ll forget what he is,IF we win the C.L,or the RUGS home and awy with his goal(s)...

Potentially, that's why I'm interested to see what salary he's agreed to
