No city should be ashamed and should of made there stance clear, but ohh no they think its clever to remain tight lipped... 2 things here, we ain't got the money and resources we all thought we had,, or our top board men are completely incompetent

Who ACTUALLY said we were in for him anyway? I mean - when did City say we were interested?

Also with Kane - wasn't it Levy's fault he didn't move. Nothing do do with how we are run.

Surely we can't actually work mind control on people.

Why the hell would CR have ever come to us - nonsense press talk surely probably started by the Rags PR department!

Let him go there, more wages, dressing room unrest and all that crap. it will be good viewing.

It was obvious we were in for him, don’t be naive. City would have shut down any interest straight away.

I think most of us agree this all feels very familiar after Ferdinand tweet followed by rag presser.

It aint over though and even if it is, they can keep winning the transfer battles whilst we win the trophies

Both of them are important, Cristiano would have given a massive boost in global fan following, it was everything we needed after Messi deal collapsed.

Should have known better than wanting a rag twat playing in sky blue.

At least we still missed out on Harold which was a huge relief.

I would very much like Haaland, however would you bet the house on us closing the deal. The club's great skill of the last 10 years has been figuring out really strong back-up plans after missing out on our first choice

The club's great skill has been finding a player with a release clause and then backing out of/losing bidding wars and settling for plan B.

The annoying thing here is that we placed all our eggs in the Kane basket when Pep admitted today that Levy was never going to negotiate. It's amateurish.

The very fact we have fuck knows how many scouts and board members paid millions and millions of pounds all around the world and the best names they could come up with as a replacement for Sergio aguero is Harry Kane and ronaldo says it all.

There has got to be a young top quality striker somewhere in Europe who would be perfect for us. The Scouting department have to do better
