I don't care how good they are, I support us, not them; I couldn't give a fuck who they sign, how they play, or what they do. I'm here for the long run, good or bad - unlike a lot of the posters on this thread, it seems.
Saying another team is as strong as us is not saying I don’t support us. I hope we win every game and shove it in everyone’s face. However a proper striker helps us do that? I don’t see the issue that these two statements can’t go hand in hand

Pmsl even more. When did I say that? I pulled you about chatting shite mate. You called our club incompetent, which couldn’t be further from the truth. We all make mistakes whilst posting & sometimes post something from an emotional stand point which is nonsense. You’ve just done that, so forget about it & move on fella, don’t carry on digging as you’ll end up looking foolish
The club have been shit at transfers of late..maybe it's due to ffp or what but it needs to be called out.

No it's not
For me it is.... Up to you what you think

Pep (for me) is the person who put the mockers on the CR transfer when it was surely the perfect opportunity to break the rags mentally and add certain goals to our team.. I actually believe after this (and the team selection in Porto) that he goes out of his way to make things extremely difficult for himself because he believes that he will find a way to succeed regardless

It didn't work in Porto so let's see how the season pans out now

i'm feeling pretty pissed off this afternoon.. Thank fuck I'm going away on a cruise tomorrow so I can drink too much and put this shit-show behind me

Call me naïve, but when do questions get asked about a club’s ability to pay inflated wages for about eleven strikers whilst remaining within FFP boundaries, despite a somewhat empty Recent trophy cabinet? That’s a hell of lot of Paul Pogba shirts to have to shift.

I never said he was the best striker but name 10 strikers in world currently better then him, he’s a wonderful player up front

yeah I'm not questioning your post just people's perception of Lukaku. Take the last game all the press were saying he should have had a hatrick and for me that's the key. He should have but didn't. There'll be games where he'll just misses boatloads and can't control the ball. Just ask any Everton or Rag fans

stuffing the likes of Norwich with a star-studded team gets stale after a while. now, 0-1 the weekend before that while looking like we don't have a cock is not good enough for me. playing without a striker will never look like good football to me, whatever the tactical genius behind that. the developments of the last few days spell another year of that at City, which makes me feel let down. sorry for being picky! i only watch football for fun. maybe my definition of fun is too exotic, but, seeing how hot this topic has been the last hours, maybe there are also others like me.

I never get tired of watching us stuff anyone. Been on the receiving end of enough of them in my time.

As for playing without a striker not being good football… lmfao

Let’s face it’s been in-cred-ible.
Scum fans having a meltdown.
He’s dead to me.
He’s a ****.
Burning shirts.
Football is dead.
OGS coming out and saying that he shouldn’t go to our rivals when they tell everyone we don’t matter.
Their poster boy wanted to join their rivals, he chased us, he wanted us.
Hahahaha shows how much he loves their club.

Not a chance mate. Chelsea will be right up there and imo are favorites. You can’t compare lampard Chelsea with Tuchels. The guy is a hell of a manager and has proven it so far. They have been amazing with him and know how to grind out results. And now with lukaku they will score even more where Werner was missing sitters
I'd say joint favourites at best (maybe 2nd). They've improved under Tuchel without a doubt and Lukaku is a definite plus for them but the people who think they've surpassed us overnight are just bedwetters.

The club have been shit at transfers of late..maybe it's due to ffp or what but it needs to be called out.
Maybe. Or maybe nothing promising is on offer that fits our needs. The acid test for me is next summer's window - likely Pep's last such with us.

It was made clear two days ago that £25m would get it over the line.

It was reported this morning that Pep wasn't particularly arsed, wasn't sure if he'd fit the team but wanted a striker. That came through as all the "Ronaldo to City is 90% done" shit was getting posted, I might add.

If you want to believe that anyone but those getting carried away with the gloating and banter have been done over by this, fill your boots.
Pep clearly wanted Kane at all costs, it looks like the club did not feel the same.

Someone has messed up badly, we have had a transfer window when our wealth, position and power should have gives us a huge advantage.

As it is, Chelsea and the Rags have strengthen significantly, we have missed a great opportunity to remain dominant.
