Referee: Carlos del Cerro Grande (ESP)
Croatia
They looked a little sluggish versus England in their opening game, maybe the age of some of their star players is catching up with them. There were moments when they looked good on the ball and had England working but they gave up chances far too easily. I expect a better performance from them in this one, they should still be looking to finish 2nd in this group. Modric still looked very good on the ball, players such as Kovacic need to be better. They need to beat Scotland or Czech Republic to give themselves a chance of qualifying, 4 points pretty much guarantees they’ll go through.
No Euro 2020 goal scorer.
Starting XI v England:
CZECH REPUBLIC
Top of the group. They got off to a cracking start versus Scotland with star striker Patrik Schick scoring both goals. The first goal was a cracking header, peeling away from the defender and the 2nd was goal of the tournament from near the halfway line. They were vulnerable at the back though and a better team would have scored 2 or 3, Vaclik, the Sevilla keeper was excellent. A point here pretty much sees them through.
Euro 2020 goal scorers:
Patrik Schick (Bayer Leverkusen) - 2
Starting XI v Scotland:
