Was really bad before kick off, there were some really serious squashes at the bottom of the stairs, resulting in 5 or 6 people being pushed backward down approx 10 concrete steps, landing on each other, hope they were OK. It was worse than getting out of the Kippax in the 70's and this was getting in! Didn't venture down at half time but heard it was just as bad again. Surely it can't be like that every time they get a big crowd up there. Anyone else witness similar?

2nd tier concourse was very narrow between the food/bar areas and the stairwells to the seats, it was certainly rammed pre-match so I'm not surprised there were some incidents - I can only assume that

1. Villa rarely fill it and
2. Their fans are not as keen on shit overpriced booze.

Also it's just as well we stood up as when I sat down at HT (up near the back) there was no fucking legroom at all and I'm not even that tall.

It didn't help people clogging up the actual staircases onto the concourses, so there were crushes at the bottom of them.

That's the one fault with these cheap, local (ish) and large allocation games. You get the not-right part time hooligans showing up, videoing people bouncing around thinking they're part of it. Other than that, great day. Can't beat a good FA Cup game.

This was horrific at half time - I went down on 41 minutes and just managed to squeeze round the bottom of the vomitory steps into the bog.

Trying to get out of the bogs was another matter altogether - this was proper Hillsborough-crush territory, couldn't move AT ALL, proper scarey, especially with me being a short-arse

Too many dick heads 'supporting' city these days, beer chucking in the concourse and now in the stands is pathetic. That said the ground is not fit for purpose, but neither are most of them whne it comes to concourse space.

Coaches being escorted to the ground at 2.52 pm didn't help either.

they are not a patch on the dickheads we were in the 60s 70s and 80s
