Cruises

I went on a cruise once..(not around Platt Fields Lake on that big fuck off pleasure boat fing)

Anyway I got off at one of the ports for a look around, tour etc and some local busy **** was following us slagging us all off. I was going to knock the daft **** out but he looked weird and a proper not right.

Have any of you been on a cruise and would you recommend it? Where etc?
Didn't have you down as one of the Blue rinse and twin set and pearls type Stokie!

Done maybe 15... they’re getting a little rough round the edges..

My favourite was an Eastern Mediterranean cruise on Celebrity Equinox but it wasn’t cheap..

The only one a fancy now (unless I win the lottery to try Seabourn etc.) is the Galapagos... Celebrity go there on a smaller ship so it gets booked up quickly once released I think

We’ve done some amazing Caribbean cruises but you need a little luck sometimes with the weather (we have)
If you were asked to convince someone that cruises were a worthwhile holiday, what would be your top three reasons?

No duty driver (we love Florida but I have to drive everywhere)

With the right itinerary a different view / location outside your window most days

Some great food, whenever you like (you learn not to eat to excess after a couple of cruises)

Closely followed by the chance to meet loads of different people... the first cruise we did we asked for a table for two in the restaurant but enjoyed the company of the other three couples near us so much we ended the cruise with the tables together... we’ve met some pretentious dickheads but they’re in a very small minority.. we now choose anytime dining so we sit with somebody different each meal time
