Crystal Palace (A) | Post Match Thread

At the start of the season, if you were told we'd be top of the league with 9 games to go, 5 of them to play at home and 5 of the 9 teams left to play were in the bottom half of the table, add to that, your form over the last 19 PL games prior would be W16 D2 L1, would you feel confident about seeing it through..?

Palace tonight were yet another team who had no ambition, time-wasted from minute one and celebrated like they themselves had won the league by hanging on, riding their luck as we twice hit the post and Eric, Riyad and Bernardo all missed decent chances..

0-3, 0-4 tonight wouldn't have been out of place..

Were STILL the team to beat..

Not over by the longest of chalks..!
Not often I'm a pessimist but I feel we may have made it difficult tonight

Its insane how careless we still are in possession even though they have been passing the ball exclusively for the past 6 years. This issue should be long gone by now.

They wouldn’t have made any difference and I would bet Pep knows that.
Maybe Gundogan would have provided something different at the right time
Could have played all night and still carried on with the same mistakes
Again utter shite, half an hour for whoever the changes were, could not of done worse, foden, Grealish we’re waving white flags in an attempt to be subbed.

Still plenty of twists and turns in this title race, and we're still on target to reach a points tally that would get in the top five of the premier league history.
Once again we were the better team tonight and with a bit more luck it would be three points instead of one,
but that's football. We are watching a truly fantastic team and should never take that for granted.
Liverpool are also a great team but we're BETTER, and I believe we'll prove it, if the powers that be allow us to.
Bring it on!

I know it's straws , especially after tonight, but imagine the melt down if they just fail again .They will have to resort to wanting extra points for scoring from outside the area ,and other injustices the Dippers have endured over the years. Then we sign Haaland.Off to bed with those happy thoughts.

Frustrating watch. I’ve learnt to mute the games but I can’t see Man City losing the title. Liverfools are only kidding themselves.

A decent performance and very unlucky not to win. Ten men behind the ball, every game, is pissing me off, as are the commentators who made endless references to Liverpool, all game, and when they weren't, it was constant chat about how Palace could win.
This.
