Pep made substitutions too late, especially KDB, KDB really sharpened the game.
No he chose the wrong starting lineup.

I agree. We looked like we would score when he came on. I also thought Mahrez offered nothing whereas Sterling was a threat.Pep made substitutions too late, especially KDB, KDB really sharpened the game.
Fuck off being clever..stones isn't a midfield player..
So name me one dipper midfielder who would get in ahead of either of the Silva's, Kev or Fern.
Been going to city since 61 ..and watched neatly every home game since then plus 100s of away games....you ever been yet
With no silva and ken bernado or gundi need to step up both have been awful for a while. Foden is the nearest we have to silva and should start before gundi imo. Every player bar kdb was poor today similar to chavs away, a bit worrying
Ideally, but for who?

That was a big mistake. No he chose the wrong starting lineup.

I think their midfield is just workmanlike. It's just high energy players. They defend as a defence and midfield, and leave Salah to score the goals. Simple but effectiveYou're a bit aggressive, my friend. I didnt say that they were better than any of our midfielders. Read my post again. I said they were more solid in the middle and their midfield recruitment was very good.
The way their midfield is set up means that they are strong both in the middle and out wide. We aren't because we didn't recruit well (again in my opinion). We didn't really need Mahrez in my opinion and games like the Chelsea game could have done with 2 solid midfielders and then Kante would have been tracked properly instead of Leroy doing it.
I used to hold a season ticket and go with my dad if that makes you feel better, then I moved to Holland so it makes it a little harder.
