You are Mike Bassett and I claim my £5.if he wants an extra man in midfield why not try 4 4 2 instead of complicating things

If you say so. But since when is rolling the ball out by a keeper considered trying to be a clever arse? From my perspective the guy sticking his foot out to block the ball is the one trying to be clever. But hey, if you were officiating the game we would have won 4-3.Infraction my arse we got lucky if that was the other way round you’d be throwing your telly out of the window, he shouldn’t of been trying to be a clever arse
Do you think Phillips could be given a look in that spot when using that system or would it be better to move Cancelo back to the right and give Gomez a game? We have Forest midweek so no disrespect to them but it might be a good time to try something else.Absolutely hate the system at present.
There is no universe where Kyle should have the main responsibility to touch the ball more than anyone else to create an overload in midfield.
He's the wrong side of the ball on every counter, people confusing him being done for pace, rather than the fact he is taken out of the game.
Stones resembling a shitting dog because he has to come out to cover the right-back space, Walker sometimes doubling up with him in desperation, a hole in the middle of the defence.
I know Klopp does similar with Terence Trent Derby, but he is a midfielder in all but name, his ability to pass and deliver is on a different level.
We need to address it quickly, somehow get Cancelo back as the spare man in the midfield.
I do think that can be addressed if Mahrez is replaced by Bernie on the right, but it then leaves us shorn of legs and energy in the middle and have concerns Kev is also becoming more reliant on legs around him?
Does a violation lead to an arrest?Laws
And the guy's foot is clearly out. What is the debate? It surely falls under the end of this sentence in the laws though:

- prevents the goalkeeper from releasing the ball from the hands or kicks or attempts to kick the ball when the goalkeeper is in the process of releasing it
Ederson is in the process of releasing the ball there.
But in all fairness, even when KDB is "off" his game his work rate and effort never waiver. Mahrez gets slagged because he goes into a casual, lazy looking mode versus going all out and busting a gut IMO. When Bernardo is playing in the same area of the park it makes it even more evident when Mahrez is in his "lounge" mode. He is an exceptional talent when he wants to be, but sometimes he plays like he can't be bothered. You can't ever say that about KDB regardless of how well or poorly he is playing.Bullshit, 5 or 6 players far worse than him, KDB had a nightmare game, or does he get a free hit ?
Like the Palace guy did, correct? It's not an automatic yellow. "If, when a free kick is taken, an opponent is closer to the ball than the required distance, the kick is retaken unless the advantage can be applied; but if a player takes a free kick quickly and an opponent who is less than 9.15 m (10 yds) from the ball intercepts it, the referee allows play to continue. However, an opponent who deliberately prevents a free kick being taken quickly must be cautioned for delaying the restart of play."
So to get a yellow, the opponent would have to mke some movement to get in the way (either of the player taking the kick or of the ball).
That wasn't a free kick...Like the Palace guy did, correct?
Sergio Gomez will stay at LB once he gets the logistics & pace of this league, you can see he has the quality to play in this team he now needs games & rythamif he wants an extra man in midfield why not try 4 4 2 instead of complicating things
