City's PL goals this season without the injured Haaland (21) and Stones (2)

Even worse, apart from Marmoush's contribution, how many of these goals are recent, or even this year?

Foden 7
Gvardiol 5
Marmoush 5
Kovacic 4
Doku 3
Bernardo 2
De Bruyne 2
McAtee 2
Savinho 1
Grealish 1
Lewis 1
Own Goal 1

Our biggest hope might be clean sheet because we won't be scoring 3 or 4
Jesus, that's like the season under Pearce haha!

It's the last 8 PL games where the issue has been amplified because the goals away from the Etihad (2/4) have both been scored by Haaland

It's a little better at home, but still restricted to Haaland, and Marmoush, plus 1 each from Grealish and McAtee (the occasional substitute in games where we're usually already winning)

Get at these from the kick off........................

Edi

Khush Ruby Josko

Nico G Kova

Phil Jack/Nico O'

Savvy Omar Jezza

Not sure between Grealish and O'Reilly as Nico will provide a more of a threat but with Kova, the midfield might need someone like Jack to keep the ball and get free kicks....................

A clean sheet for us, this year, is in the lap of the gods. Sure, we kept one at OT, but only because their attackers couldn't trap a bag of cement. I mean - that Garnacho one? Difficult to take defensive credit for that.

Any other day - even against that lot - we'd have been a couple down at half-time.

Realistically, we should accept we are going to concede and put out a line-up capable of sticking at least a couple in.

Obviously, Palace have had their moments against us and are going well at the moment, but if we really approach this game with an 'a draw is a good result' mindset - under these circumstances - then I don't think we deserve to finish top 5.

Agree completely until the bit about finding a team capable of sticking at least a couple in.

I can think of some regulars who haven't even had a shot in 2-3 games, and that's without Grealish, who despite scoring last week, still spent the whole of his 20 minutes at the Swamp, trying to win cheap free kicks, even when it was easier to dribble and shoot.

Not sure he should be doing our match he use to play for Crystal Palace, so may have allegiance towards them.

Just checked, he had been pulled from doing Palace v City in 2017 ffs

Savinho has had 51 shots for that one goal! Absolutely woeful.

So you want Lewis instead of Nunes? Not a wise choice as he has done little to inspire confidence as the season has progressed. Not sure why you conclude he is any better than Nunes who at least has a bit of athleticism about him.
Yes,

I'm done with Nunes, wouldn't bother me if he never played for us again, he's fucking shite.

He certainly divides opinion, I’ve always thought he is a bit slow reading the game but he has not yet nailed down his own position

Brilliant CL games this week. Football at its best but it emphasises just how important it is to qualify for the CL so that we can buy players who can take us back to that level.

Doku gets loads of hate and Sav gets away with missing chance after chance, his shooting is genuinely appalling. He’s up there with Adrian Heath for skying shots.
Confidence probably has a lot to do with it. He's very young. What was Mahrez like at that age? No idea but I bet he wasn't the finished product. Some patience is required. Not easy I know.

Yes agree but gets away with it more than Doku who is only two years older. I fear both players aren’t good enough but let’s see.

Hi
So last year I struggled to get some games but managed in the end with perseverance
This season I've noticed there are lots of tickets left for the games excluding the big games that we've already played.
So does anybody know why there are lots of seats available
I'm just curious
Thank you
