Can anyone that went last year put some details in here of what needs to be organised for trips to Russia?

I know the draw's not finished yet but looking to get a head start on booking flights, etc.

If the fixtures fall so that we play away in Moscow on match day one, 16/17th September, what chance has anyone got of getting a visa sorted?

If its the first game you'll have to pay extra for a speedy service to get your visa in time.

Will post more later on about Moscow, but if you fancy it you should go. Great place.

A lot of hard work mate, start filling everything in now so you can send it off tomorrow if it is the first game, got ours back pretty quick last year, but might be a struggle this year due to the political situation, there a bit like city at the moment they think the worlds against them.
Forgot to mention, you need your invitation letter from the hotel first.

im thinking tickets for Bayern will be very hard to get (through legitimate means lol)

Doubt it, third visit in 4 years means it won't be popular and people will save their money for the other games or even the knockout rounds (touch wood).

Doubt it, I went to the previous two matches but will be giving this one a miss. If the game falls during Oktoberfest as it did 3 years ago it should be relatively easy to get tickets because of the cost of flights and hotels - we had a few dozen tickets unsold IIRC.

Last group game I missed was Santander - Moscow was by some distance the worst. The weather is shit, the people are pricks, nowhere decent to drink. The Visa business is a pain in the arse. I'm definitely not going again, and I don't know why anyone would bother with it.
