Re: CSKA Moscow v City (Wednesday 23 October)

In light of the 600 tickets we've received for Plzen, can anyone confirm whether this match is going to be at the Khimki (18,636 capacity) or the Luzhniki (78,360)?

I knew there was no point me booking trip to Plzen as I wouldn't get a match ticket and it'll probably be the same for CSKA if the games played at the Khimki.

UEFA web-site states Khimki stadium for all their group games so no reason to assume otherwise

Cheers. Getting frustrated with mobile sites on my phone.

If it's the Khimki then we're looking less than a 1000 tickets I guess?

Re: CSKA Moscow v City (Wednesday 23 October)

Ont heir site, CSKA sells home tickets to Khimki Stadium, it's capticity is 18k, so, I guess that 10% goes to the visitor's side, so it's 1.800 tickets, if I'm right with MCFC's quota we can expect on 1.800 tickets. By the way, ONLY by pack on all 3 home matches, ONLY (!!!) to season ticket holders..

Found this page on Uefa. The last time CSKA played in UCL in 11/12 their games were at the Luzhniki.

Now shows Khimki as the venue for this season for all their games including ours

-- Tue Sep 03, 2013 6:07 pm --

Actually UEFA rules state 5% as the minimum so we can expect only 900 tickets

Re: CSKA Moscow v City (Wednesday 23 October)

what would you people say to arranging a van on the gameday that could first take some of you around the city for some basic sightseeing or maybe hitting the boozers a bit and then getting you to and from the ground? if interested, let me know and i'll see through the possibilities.

Yeah booked it earlier on. They charge for a voucher but only 19 quid. Send you it via email then send that off with your visa form. 96 quid in all

Re: CSKA Moscow v City (Wednesday 23 October)

there are designated trains that go from all airports to city centre every 30 mins, tickets are 6,5 quid. if you fly in to Domodedovo airport, you'll arrive to Paveletsky station; from Sheremetyevo train goes to Belorussky station.

Re: CSKA Moscow v City (Wednesday 23 October)

anyone else flying manchester to domodedovo airport , arriving at 2.40 on the 23rd, interested in sharing a minibus or something from airport to the stadium or hotel in khimki. we've looked into the train and metro route and it's going to take too long because we arrive on the matchday. prices are around £60 for a minibus which if split by a few of us isn't too bad, there's a couple of us so if anyone else is interested let us know .

we've also decided to stay in khimki the first night as traveling back to the city after the match will be effort
