Current City Legends

Inspired by the SWP Legend thread. Who in the current squad do you think can be considered to be a legend.

Personally I think Vinnie and Yaya have already made the jump into that status. I think that goal has got to make Aguero one or close to becoming one anyway.

It will be very hard for any modern footballer to become a legend at a club.

Some of the players here have to spend longer before they can become legends IMO.

I really hope our boy zaba will become one. Finish off his career here, possible job afterwards? like what viera did.

I think Zabaleta really appreciates what City did when we let him leave to see his ill father, or at least I would, I can see Zabaleta staying another 4 years to add to the 4 he's got already, he's certainly improved more than enough and is also playing regularly for Argentina now as well. Doubt he'd think he'd be a league champion and International regular 4 years ago.

All of them! They ended our trophy drought with the FA Cup and backed it up with the league. Everyone of them played their part and came up with crucial contributions when necessary - Yaya, Edin, Sergio, Mario, Kolarov, Hart etc.

We've got some very good players. Even some top class ones. For me Vinnie & Joe Hart will be around long enough to become legends. Silva is a pure class player but will he be around long enough to break into the league. I hate to say it but I don't think so & neither will Aguero. love the sound of Zab he's one fans of today won't forget. Even speaks English like a true English man. Mancini has become a legend we have won the league & cup under him. But for me it has to be Vinnie. The way he celebrated that goal against the rags. That memory will live with me. What a captain, what a player, plus he married a Manchester girl.
