Current City Players Nailed To Work in UK Media?

Was thinking about the distinct lack of pro city ex players in the media these days and it got me thinking of which players when retired will suit media and be fair in their opinion of City.

I think Kompany would be great for us if he worked in the media after his career ended.

I'd like to see some of those snidey little anti City innuendos being spouted with Zabba in the studio!

Kompany is too intelligent to be a pundit. Kompany will stay in the game and become a manager i think. Hart will probably be in the media when he's finished his playing career. Confident and is always put forward to speak to the media for both club and country. Keep yaya well away from the media please, can't understand a word he says

The Lampard one year loan might not do us any harm in this respect at all. Obviously he's a chelsea man but anyone who stayed to watch his speech at the end of last season could see how much he's warmed to city. He's a solid guy so I doubt he'd stick the boot into us if he ever gets into the media side of things and he could be very favourable to us if he ever chooses to do so, and he won't be short of offers

It'll be a while but Komps and Zaba will only get a gig if we're 'accepted'.......love to think Spanish Dave will get a seat for the CL games but chances are Shakey will get board and it won't matter. ;)

I might have missed something (haven't exactly been watching Inside City devoutly) but how good is Silva's English? I thought he still largely needs a translator for more than simple discussions?

He swears fluently in English! I just think he's very careful about making sure he fully understands what's being asked and what he's saying so there's no "misunderstanding". He won't be doing punditry in England anyhow as he's said he will retire back to the Canaries.

Hart, Kompany and Zab are the obvious ones, possibly Milner seeing as he's part of the Scouse mafia now. The one we'd all want to watch is Mario of course but maybe MOTD isn't quite ready for him yet!
