Heading over to Dallas in couple of weeks time, have any Bluemooners been there or do any of you live in the area as I'm looking for tips on places to go things to do. Already sussed out some stuff that we're planning to do ie Stockyards/Rodeo in Fort Worth, the JFK museum, Ice Hockey (2 home games for the Stars get in!!), wife has got the shopping planned, but just looking for more stuff especially places folk have been and can recommend, also resturaunts/bars etc and are there any places that will bne showing our games against Napoli and Liverpool as I will be away when these are on. Cheers.

Dallas rocks.love it there.

Catch an American football game up at SMU.

The JFK stuff is a must.

TGI Fridays there has to be tried!

Ghostbar on the top floor on the W Hotel is packed with the very rich, very young and very attractive things of Dallas. I went there a couple of years back and felt like old man Steptoe, but it was a good night out.

The Gaylord, the West Village is kind of cool, Cowboy Stadium in Arlington (if the World Cup ever comes back to US, they'd like to have some games there), maybe Reunion Tower (revolving restaurant).

You can catch the games at The Londoner (3 places in Dallas), or The Allen Wickers Pub in Plano (which I hope to check out soon). Hope you have a good time.

You can look forward to having the venue virtually to yourself.

I actually have nothing productive to add, just like a laugh at Tom Hicks' expense.

I can't remember if there's anything else around this place, but the statues there are pretty cool:

Las Colinas, in Irving.

The Ball Park in Arlington is a nice place...and Six Flags over Texas is near by if you're a rollercoaster/theme park fan...
