Dan Walker used to work in Manchester on local sports coverage. Nice blog about some of the 'good old days' (Royle/Keegan, players etc) and comparison to today. Worth a read, and not too long.

My favourite bit is Keegan/Berkovic/Benarbia, really took me back. Its nice to look back on all that.....And remember its all a long way in the past!

Did he not reply with 'cos I'm part of the anti-City media'?

Looks like he might have a soft spot for us. If he saw the 'good old days', then at least some sympathy ;)
