As a footballer I felt we could use him but I've never rated him as a personality.

he has to put himself and his family first, but in the cirumstances it looks like he has bottled the challenge of Premiership football, and it does look like he did not have the decency to inform City and Guardiola of his decision. Mendy's a left back, Walker's the other widely known right back target. Hopefully someone's taking notes while that deal's being negotiated...

As said, IF we had an agreement to sign Alves and PSG have had us over, either intentionally or unintentionally, I would think our owner in the present political situation is seriously pissed.

I think I am right in saying our owner is also the deputy PM of the UAE.
