Though in the Guardian today the guy said he could barely understand what Bane the baddie was saying. Did you find that yourself Mav?

That's what I thought before I saw it, but I assure you, every minute of the film is enthralling and worthwhile.

Saw it today, fantastic film. Few criticisms however.

Like mentioned above, there were times when I genuinely couldn't understand what Bane was saying which is ridiculous and frustrating for such a huge movie.

There is no single acting performance that comes close to Ledger's as the Joker in the previous movie and that was what made The Dark Knight such an incredible film. So because of that this one seemed a bit lacking.

The action scenes and special effects are spectacular though.

I think I'd give it 8/10, the same as I'd give the last one. Only the best films are deserving of 9 and The Dark Knight Rises isn't up there with the best, not far off though, a must watch.

The prologue was cool. Quite similar to the Lau kidnapping scene in The Dark Knight.

As others have said its only occasionally that you can't understand but it doesn't spoil the film at all, I just wish they had an intermission like the old days I was busting for a pee half way through so did it at a quiet point.
