It was a good film. Nothing more, nothing less in my opinion. Hardy's voice was so over dubbed he sounded ridiculously camp. There was some very weak parts to the film. However, Hathaway is just beautiful. Her arse in that catsuit passed the time quite quickly.

Brilliant film and a good ending to the trilogy. Do have a few 'issues' with it though and don't think it was as good as the Dark Knight, but that was mainly due to how amazing Ledger was in it.
I hope he doesn't take the Robin thing any further

Hoping they go in the Nightwing direction. Very annoyed that they gave his real name as Robin but I guess it would have been too obvious if they called him Dick Grayson from the start. Please do another trilogy Nolan. Please.

Had a great day today, James Bond exhibition followed by Dark Knight Rises- even feeling like shit after yesterday !!

1) Brilliant film, especially for #3 in the Trilogy. At least as good as #2 and better than #1.
2) Had no trouble understanding Bane. Not sure if they have reworked his voice due to feedback from early reviews, but it sounded fine at my local theater.
3) Based on other feedback, I watched "Batman Begins" (#1) last night to reacquaint myself with all the references back to that episode in the movie. Would recommend it if it has been awhile or you are not a Batman nut.
4) Effects are spectacular....'Nuff said!
5) Underlying message is good and will create excellent context for the movie over time.
6) The way Nolan wrapped up the Trilogy with a bow was, without any spoilers, "almost" perfect!
7) Went to the early half-priced matinee ($6), so I won't mind doing that again to catch more of the movie than was possible on first look. Bonus!
8) My 14 year old son came with me and said it was the "best movie I ever saw" and he goes to the movies quite a bit.
9) I asked him about some of the plot details and he did not get them or was able to relate them back to previous movies, so adults will get far more out of the movie than your average teen.
10) ...out of 10!!!

Very good movie. high tech effects but almost old fashioned in the way it was filmed and wasn't afraid to take its time. Batman is the coolest superhero. Anne Hathaway is a revelation as Catwoman.
