Probably. Darts live text was the headline on the bbc earlier. This type of competition wouldn’t have even been mentioned last year. He has lifted the profile which all players will benefit from.Yep bet is close to being a millionaire now with winnings and sponsors
Problem is he is a rag.

I used to play league many moons ago.
I used to love watching darts when they smoked and drank hug quantities of booze and was free to watch, a bit of snooker or darts back in the day was great Sunday afternoon viewing.
This little plump fella has got years in him yet but he'll be middle aged by the time he's 21 and his chosen profession is never going to keep him fit.
Good luck to the young lad though, I hope he fulfils all of his dreams even though I probably wont be watching it ;)
