Is a rag, but it gets worse

He was born in Manchester and moved to Merseyside with his dad when he was five, which means he has a scouse accent and is a rag! He's been a regular match going fan, but I'm not sure if he's in the green and gold camp
Anyway, I've only met him once and he seems ok, but he and my daughter are staying over at our house for the next couple of nights (it's my daughter's birthday so a family get together tomorrow)

I don't know if it's because he's a rag, has a scouse accent or both, but I've found myself hiding my wallet and bank statements before they arrive

Am I being paranoid?

Entirely sensible precautions I would say.

Just a bit. Give him a chance and remember, he's her choice. Just like when we made similar choices. Ours didn't all work out and maybe this one won't, but being cool about it will make your relationship with your daughter better.

No, wait until everyone is out of earshot and quietly warn him “I’m watching you, you bin dipping, rag ****.”

When you’re on your own with your daughter, keep making out as if you want to say something but stop short.

When she insists that you talk, try the old “Well I didn’t want to say anything but I heard him on the phone the other night saying ‘I can’t wait to give it to you again, what are you wearing right now?’”

Stress that he may have been talking to a mate about a tenner that he owes him and could’ve been asking about his golf attire.

Finally, have a shit in his overnight bag.

Your chance to test his devotion to your daughter.....
A condition of him staying over being that he dons a City shirt for the night!

A scouse match-going Rag is going to be giving your daughter a “special birthday present” under your roof. I hope it doesnt keep you awake listening to every slight noise in the next bedroom.
Tell the rag-dipper to sleep in the shed or bring a tent!
