Take a wild guess.......
What do we hope it will be?

My preferences are:

1) Tossed into the olympic flame and set on fire?

2) Strapped to a target for the final of the Men's Archery or, more aptly in his case, the small bore rifle shooting?

Other suggestions welcome.........

Dont know but getting sick of seeing him all over the TV and Media.

Seriously just clicked on yahoo to check emails and "Beckham has young fan in tears" headline, then went to check aol and Beckham headline again for Olympic Role. Then he was on Sky Sports other day as sent a video in congratulating the Tour De France winner, then this morning on Sky Sports News he was at some Sport show last night with Ali when his team were actually playing football without him.

Its pathetic so many have bent over for him to find a role. If he merited a place in the football team, he would have been there but he stopped being a proper footballer some time ago. Just because he wasnt chosen doesnt mean they should be trying to get him a role in it by any means neccessary.

he is just 1 huge PR machine and has been for years.

The Olympic Committee have just announced a new role. Apparently they have an opening for Media Whore..... so that's that job filled then.

IMO as a footballer he peaked early in his carer and has been going down hill since he was around 29 to 30 years old.

He could be the McDonalds Official **** of the games.

I wish he'd fuck off already. He is an average footballer and never got above being a good footballer.

His Olympic role is to get as much exposure as possible to enable him to maximise future sponsorship deals for himself.
