It is always fascinating that his sexuality became an issue, as he was acting a complete tosser. So his sexuality didn't stop him becoming a top referee in England, it never put him off, he must of reffed to a good standard to get to where he did, the video was from years ago apparently but it being leaked has caused issues about his sexuality? Very bizarre.
Reminds me of Delli Ali, now what he went through as a youngster doesn't sound pleasant and I hope them demons can be fought. But it is strange that despite that he managed to work his way up in football, get to a premier league club, play in a champions league final, called up for England and playing in major tournaments. Then when his form turns and he can't get a game for love nor money, he releases his story about abuse he suffered as a child. Mad how that wasn't known at his heights and his turn around to be celebrated, instead it is used as an excuse. Just like Coote here.
I was very successful in business but unravelled in my forties thru childhood trauma. The gutter press wouldn’t pay me, tho’. Luckily I had a lot of equity in my house and lived on that when I couldn’t work. I struggled for about 15 years but I’m back to my previous bonhomie now. The mind is fine but the body is dropping to bits. Saved by City and Bluemoon.
