it's so easy to see how different the officials referee those games involving United and Liverpool and protect the players. I think Manchester City players are the most kicked/fouled players in the league and teams are being allowed to kick us off the park and go unpunished,

I think Lewis 2nd yellow/red card was a pen and foul on him and should have been overturned by VAR
United would have been given the pen and so would a Liverpool player, Pep said, it's ok because it was Lewis and City its ok, Pep Knows the line he can not cross and jokes, but he's spot on when saying City don't get calls like that by the officials
 
Needs to be clarification on the reasons for his sacking. Having an opinion isn't a sackable offence. If it's for doing beak then that's more understandable although players have been caught doing it before and they only get a temporary ban.

He's been screwed right over by both his so called friends and then by his employers. The rest of the refs really should have rallied around him to stop him being sacked.

Surely he just goes and officiates in saudi for more money than he's currently on.

He can appeal. We probably don’t have all the info in the public domain to decipher whether that’s likely or not.

Andre Marriner got the League Cup final as a reward for changing his report to say that he didn't see the incident where Aguero was alleged to have elbowed Winston Reid, when his original report said he'd seen it and didn't think it was a problem.
 
Why is there a gagging order? I assume this means they are paying him to keep quiet. Why do that, unless they have something to hide?

Probably worried about a huge can of worms if they reveal they've knowingly made 'mistakes' is title or relegation deciding or other consequential games. or that they are aware of anomalous results due to potential corruption.

I recon they've knowingly buried corruption in the past.
 
In any workplace you cannot disrespect your work colleagues so why should referees have to deal with managers screaming abuse in their faces in most games. Klopp was one of the worse so I understand calling a **** when out of work is ok the real **** is the one releasing the video.

I'm not condoning it in anyway but most of our front-line emergency services folk will laugh their tits off at that.

Referee's just need to be stronger in issuing cards for that sort of behaviour. That's what those sanctions are for, to punish and deter. Loads of managers and players get away with this EVERY single game. Referees shouldn't be selective in who they book and who they don't.

The point is Webb won’t allow refs to book certain managers.

Nobody knows there is a gagging order. He has been dismissed with immediate effect ( pending an appeal ) So I highly doubt they’ll be paying him anything from this point onwards.
