David Coote

The trouble is the media. One, just one decision goes against the red mafia and it is shown every five minutes and debated to death and repeated whenever they can. Don't think we'll ever hear the end of the one against the dippers at Tottenham. And that was a genuine mistake not corruption or dishonesty.

Stop being a contrary old woman mate you’re making a habit of it on here.
Contrary about what? He has said something someone in his position shouldn’t be saying, and had been stupid enough to say it with a camera pointing at his face. You said he’s a grown up, those actions suggest he isn’t. He is infact quite dim, extremely naive and has let his judgment slip, and now his career is over, his reputation as a professional ruined. The only good thing to come out of it is that 99% of people agree with him! That won’t pay his bills though.

Now we can all say it on here, in the pub or wherever knowing it doesn’t affect or mean anything.

A top official saying it now opens up a can of worms and has dippers frothing at the mouth claiming conspiracy, agenda or whatever. Go and look on their forum. They were convinced the powers that be and the media have it in for them, and this empty-head gobbing off to a camera just fuels their claims. If an official said that about another club, their fans, ours included, would be fucking livid and claiming the same those cunts in dipperville are crying about.

That’s not contrary, it’s fact.

Liverpool FC illegally used credentials (that City should have cancelled when the users left their employment) to access City's data. That isn't the fault of Liverpool's fans.

Fake story….

They used the credentials of a City employee who had written his password down for his own use & they stole it before they left.

There all going on about how david coote has cost them 3 titles. Doku incident - Coote was on 4th official. Decision was made and checked between Referee (Oliver) & VAR.

Rodri incident - Coote wasn’t involved at all. Kavanagh (VAR) & Tierney (Ref).

VVD incident - VVD was offside PRIOR to the tackle.

fair enough, i think vast majority of fans for every club would never allow a ref to handle their games if they called the team and manager that.

I think it needs perspective, he did not call Liverpool and in fact said he liked Milner, he called Klopp who is now an ex manager.

He’s opinion of Klopp is from personnel opinion as opposed to a dislike because of who he managed.

A lot of fans disliked Klopp, but may have liked him if he managed their club.

This is not that, he did not like him because they had a professional disagreement which Klopp made public and probably caused him issues.

The issue is both set of fans will assume in a 50/50 this video has determined outcome, against Liverpool because Klopp is a C, or for Liverpool because he is too scared to give anything against them.

The truth for me is this video puts in question his judgment, talking on film, back at some kids house a lot younger and it does have at best after the pub vibes a few more drinks, to possibly on the coke.

Apparently his defence is he doesn’t remember it.

That for me is his issue, if he had been caught on camera saying it without knowing he was filmed etc.

I would have more sympathy.

For the record I think most refs probably think most managers are C’s at times.

They probably think us fans are too.

They still want to get decisions right.

If they say it often enough it’ll be true
