Having watched Platt in many Press Conferences, interviews and seeing him on the sidelines at matches, I think he is doing a fantastic job in supporting Mancini (as is Kiddo too). He is very good with the press, and doesn't suffer fools gladly.

When the time does come around when Roberto decides to move on (or is moved on), and Platty is still at the club, whould he be someone that should be considered to take over as Manager?

Big risk and probably not IMO mate... Brain Kidd would have more of a cance

Big risk and probably not IMO mate... Brain Kidd would have more of a cance


Brian Kidd has proved he doesn't have the capability for being the "Top Man" and that he's far better in a supporting role

really like platt think hes doing a great job , but not sure our owners would take that risk given where we have risen 2

Kiddo was manager at Blackburn for a year, other than that he has always been in an assistant role.
Regarding Platty I agree with the OP that he has managerial potential and he could be a possible replacement were Bobby to leave.

Cheers mate, i am only 22 so would of been 8 then, can only remember him as a coach
