Was going to say exactly the same. Great understanding between him and Nolito. Just has that knack of creating space for himself, players spin off him and he finds them. Joy to watch.

Raheem was probably better in the first half, but he was pretty anonymous for most of the second, whereas Merlin was excellent throughout.

Brilliant today, he ran the show for large parts of the game. He was definitely more motm than Sterling today. He'll never have a decent shot on him, so I probably understand why he doesn't shoot - best give it to someone who can. Also, he needs to cede corners to KdB - for someone who can pick a pass out of nowhere, his dead ball delivery is fucking shocking.

Looked great today, always got plenty of time for our David because we know how much he can run things when he's on form. I think his confidence is rising again under Pep, can't wait to see what level he can take him to, he will know how to get the best out of him which is a scary thought for all other managers.
