David Silva leaves City after 10 years

Made up he's potentially coming to Spain. I'll be making the trip to watch him a couple of times if and when it's possible.

You lucky bastard.

Many of my family and mates will be doing the same whilst I am stuck in this part of the world sinking in to the abyss.

I think you may have said before, but where do you live again?

Spend my time between Marbella, orihuela Costa and Tenerife.
I'd love to see him in the flesh again a couple of times before he calls it a day. He's brought me that much joy over the last decade, it doesn't bear thinking about that I wouldn't get the chance.

That is the life.

Most of the Spanish side of my family and mates are in Zaragoza (where we’re from), Tarragona, and Barcelona.

I admired him even before he went to City, as I was still playing competitively as a CM when he was coming through Celta Vigo, and especially after I got to see him for Valencia in 2006. My admiration obviously turned to idolisation over this last decade.

If not for the pandemic and health issues I would be back with my family right now and harassing my mate who lives in Irun for his season ticket.

He could of still done a job at a Champions League level club but a good move none the less. Good luck
