I was going to say this! the four of them made the spine of City's greatest team ever!Should’ve waited for Aguero to leave. Vinnie, Yaya, Silva and Aguero together would be much more iconic.
for me he has given more pleasure than any other City player in my lifetime and I remember the 60/70s team. The finest player to grace our shirt. My wife and I watched his interview and all the tributes the club have paid (with a few tears) and they were nice but can’t replace us all saying goodbye properly. The two elderly ladies that sit next to us at the Etihad adored David. Always the first one they looked for on the team sheet. Please god they and all of us get to say goodbye and thank you at the Etihad for everything he has given us. Good luck with whatever you do in your life David, for you and your family, and gracias for the last ten years of absolute genius and class. So much I could say and so much I want to say but I will bite my lip.
Thanks to the ones that have supported my friend over the past magnificent 10 years.
He is sad and angry right now. Like most of us left bemused by the 5 at the back tonight but let's not sour things.
I just want you to know he has told me from the dressing room "it has been an honour to play for this club".
He has tonight moved into the top 10 of all time City appearances.
Greatness is measured by achievement, skill and longevity. He has accomplished all 3.
He let his football do the talking, I am sure we will be talking about him in decades to come.
I wish I could have shared more with you over the years but at the end of the day he is a friend and I have respected his privacy at all times.
David will always have City in his heart.
Thanks
Is it just this topic or others in which you have called people idiots? - asking for 'a friend'.Happy to admit, I was spectacularly wrong about a statue outside the ground. Died in the last ditch a few times arguing about that over the years tbf!
Apologies to anyone I called an idiot for disagreeing with me on this topic!
As this is the only subject I’ve ever been wrong about in my entire life, the former, and tell your friend he’s an idiot! Is it just this topic or others in which you have called people idiots? - asking for 'a friend'.
Cracking. Well done and thanks. My David Silva web page is now finished - https://www.rtfract.com/silva.html
Great work there, lot of time and effort in that mate.My David Silva web page is now finished - https://www.rtfract.com/silva.html
Gets my vote.
Well played lad. I’d definitely buy you a pint or 10 for thatLet me have my minute.
Crap one:I do hope they get the setting right, it should be Aguero front center on his knees arms in the air celebrating his record goal scoring. Silva right slightly behind with a hand on Aguero`s shoulder indicating his helping hand in Aguero`s success, Kompany on the left slightly behind Aguerro and Silva arms folded impervious the strength that Agureo and Silva built on.
City do things so professionally these days i can not see them not bringing a full team of psychologists , artists and marketing agents in the design of these statues, but i thought i might just as well put my thoughs in as i see so many crap ones about.
Exactly Silva`s, Aguero and Kompany`s statues must symbolize what they achieved and how they achieved it, it should also be a tourist attraction, something you have to do if you visit Manchester, As with the statue above where is it? and why does it look like an advertisement?Crap one:

Tom Finney spent the best part of 20 years playing for the Club in the 1940's and 50's. A local plumber by trade, he was seen as one of the most, if not the, complete footballer of his generation. Able to shoot with either foot and have the ability to play anywhere along the forward line, he was...www.geograph.org.uk
