He sounds a bit of a Joe Cole type to me. Is it any wonder how Chelsea haven't renewed his contract then? If we can agree a fee for Silva, i'd expect Chelsea to match it straight away. Only seen bits of him but he's looked class and the top clubs have been sniffing around him for a reason. Yea he's lightweight and after robbie the rat a lot of us are a bit sceptical to palyers of this type, but other lightweight players do a good job in the prem, it's all about bottle. Hopefully Silva is up to it and we can bring him in cos he's a very classy player

I think if this was to happen our chances of signing Torres would increase, though they will still be very small

He's alot more than a Joe Cole, Silva likes to pick up the ball and uses short one two's alot, likes to be on the ball, and is always amongst the thick of things, like i say, cant see any legs in this story.

There's probably legs in it as far as Cook actually being out there trying to sign him, but like I say if he is available for a silly price, Chelsea will match it and offer him CL football. As none of us know much about him and his personality, I have to conclude he would automatically opt for the team offering him the CL he has experienced with Valencia.

I am tired of all the speculation regarding us signing players. I say just buy Barcelona FC and be done with it.Then we could choose the required players at ouir discretion. :P

Silva is better than Joe Cole, Cole always over does it and tries the hollywood pass or tries a stupid trick, he's getting on and he's getting no better.

Silva is a class player, skillful, top passing, movement, awareness, some of his goals this season have been world class, always been a fan of him since i've watched Valencia, would of loved villa and silva both at city, i wouldn't rule out Silva coming anyway.

25mill should be about right.
