You can tell silva would play on into his sixties if his body would let him, he just loves football :)

What a career, hope he goes on to coaching in the future

That is shite news. Hope he makes a full recovery (although it has been mentioned at 37 it is not good news on that)

He would probably still be competitive in the Saudi league with a ruptured ACL.

I wouldn't write him off just yet, there's no news on the severity, initial reports say out for several months so fingers crossed for him.

Gutted for him, but hopefully not the end of his career. Was hoping to take a trip to Sociedad to see him in action this season.
