Well Silva is a player who need to get the ball most of times with spain possession playing other players get most of the ball (iniesta, xavi, alonso...) and silva is not Navas or Pedro add to that his finishing so it becomes difficult to perform well in those conditions

Should have scored his main chance but that aside he was constantly winning the ball in dangerous areas and cutting out The Dutch momentum. It's a shame that the miss will be trotted out as a reason Spain didn't go on to win but Silva will cope with that. Hope he's not made the scapegoat but I get the feeling he will - as has been alluded to by others I get the feeling Del Bosque will drop him without a second thought whilst keeping Xavi and Iniesta in there.
