Loved some of the replies , keep it up boys , still some of u think he is World Class if Nasri had missed the chance that your hero missed/saved ( my Mam would have saved ) at 1 0 to us and then we ended getting beat 5 1 ( September 23 1989 , Rag ) he would have been slaughtered .

But not your precious Dave I can't pass more than 5 yards Silva

Enjoy your afternoon and let's hope Joe keeps a clean sheet tonite

Is that code? I note that peterkim is an anagram of prikmeter, and you definitely score 525 on the old prikmeter

By the way I believe Negredo would have done better than Costa last night and torres

Too bad his form towards the end of the season wasn't good enough and he couldn't make the squad.

At the start of the season he was in excellent form.

He's either a WuW, doesn't understand football or both, don't think his opinion is worth taking note of either way, Bills other username?

I am reminded of that Blackadder scene featuring Tom Baker as the utterly barking Captain Redbeard Rum, who announces that he intends to sail around the world without a crew.

[Blackadder] - I thought it was considered common maritime practice for a ship to have a crew?
[Rum] - Opinion is divided on the subject, my Lord
[Blackadder] - Oh? How so?
[Rum] - All the other captain's say it is, I say it isn't.

Any alarms going off?

He has precedent.

Two League titles, an FA Cup and League Cup with City. One World Cup and two European Championships with Spain. And he was instrumental in all

Yes, but apart from all of that what has he ever done?

His pass to Edin for the 6th goal at the swamp was over 5 yards also!

To the tune of Love Spreads by the Stone Roses...

Let me put you in the picture,
let me show you what I mean,
David Silva's fucking magic,
he's the best we've ever seen,
we can play him on the left,
we can play him on the right,
that boy David Silva, he is fucking dynamite,

You're entitled to your opinion but you're a mentalist.

I always get the feeling that Silva's place in the Spain team is under threat. I hope they don't scapegoat him and drop him for Fabregas/Mata/Cazorla/Koke. I wouldn't be surprised though... he always seems to get substituted.

always felt the same. seems like he's an outsider since he's not in one of the barca/madrid cliques.

Well Silva is a player who need to get the ball most of times with spain possession playing other players get most of the ball (iniesta, xavi, alonso...) and silva is not Navas or Pedro add to that his finishing so it becomes difficult to perform well in those conditions

Good the less he plays for Spain the better lol, unless he feels he has to move to Barca or Madrid to get a full time place

He was Spain's best player until the second half when they collapsed. Should have scored his main chance but that aside he was constantly winning the ball in dangerous areas and cutting out The Dutch momentum. It's a shame that the miss will be trotted out as a reason Spain didn't go on to win but Silva will cope with that. Hope he's not made the scapegoat but I get the feeling he will - as has been alluded to by others I get the feeling Del Bosque will drop him without a second thought whilst keeping Xavi and Iniesta in there.
