David Wagner leaves Huddersfield / B Dortmund's Jan Siewert in (P7)

Assuming its true, its not surprising In the sense that all struggling teams sack their managers as a last ditch effort to save themselves but I'm not sure what they were expecting tbh, their squad is barely championship level, minimal investment and dont play survival football. nobody can save them from relegation best bet would have been to stick with him and plan to come back up. Terrible timing with them playing us next and them bound to have that extra spring in their step but at least it means liverpool won't get a free game from Klopps best mate whenever they play them.

For all those reasons you've described, I'd be extremely surprised if he's been sacked based on performances or on the premise they think someone else could save them. Getting them promoted and then keeping them up was an unbelivable achievement on that kind of budget.

All the Twitter rumours about this are 20 hours old.

mmmmmmmmmm...........................

@Didsbury Dave if you have gone off half cocked here in the vain hope of elevating yourself to legend ITK status and its wrong i will put forward a motion to have you banned until such a time we have left the EU ;-)

Scrap the above and all hail Dave who is now elevated to legend status ;-)
