exactly.The injury highlights how precarious are position is having not secured a back up to fern. God forbid fern incurred an injury I suspect de bruyne not stones would have been asked to drop deep. Depending on the length of time he will be out and who we may play, it will be important that fern is rotated carefully. Whatever way you look at it, the length of the injury may have a knock on effect in relation to how we set up or how or if where going to rotate those who can play as are number 8s.
How has this 2 months business come out without him having a scan? Its almost impossible to asses ligament damage or grade of muscle injury without a scan.

And the story put in MEN quickly after that only quotes them and says awaiting confirmation from the club (Stuart Brennan on Twitter)
