De Bruyne injury - Back in Training (p89)

I bet it was sterling that injured him.

On a serious note, having looked at fixtures we should be okay with David and Bernardo, ilkay, Foden, mahrez Diaz and zinchenko.

Even if he were to be out for three months the only big league games he would miss are Liverpool and Spurs, and the latter may be postponed. Obviously he will probably miss half the cl group but it is what it is.

Any knee injury isn't good. But where KDB carried us for so much last season in Silva's absence, Silva can now return the favour in his.
Bernardo is now a central player, who is quick. Silva is the slower player who can pick players out. Mahrez, Sane and Sterling (even Jesus) capable of doing damage down the sides.

Whilst it’s a blow realistically it’s just the Liverpool game that’s the worry none of the others. But it just puts a little extra pressure on David Silva

How has this 2 months business come out without him having a scan? Its almost impossible to asses ligament damage or grade of muscle injury without a scan.

Exactly. After the debacle with Mendy and being told it wasn’t too serious only for it to turn out to be the most serious injury, I have a bad feeling about this one.

Wouldn't worry about this in the slightest.

Pep's doctors will have him sorted within a week ;-)

Fixtures coming up.

if he's only out 2 months, it's not a problem really. If it stretches past 2 months things might get uncomfortable.
