De Bruyne?

TargetS, as in plural? We all know about De Bruyne, and I think most have given up on the prospect of Pogba, so are there any other potential signings in the pipeline that you're aware of?

if this is correct then we don't have backup target, so the Pedro / Ottamendi options are probably rubbish.

Seems a bit risky to me putting your eggs in one basket, unless we are happy to stay as we are if needs be. If that happens we won't be challenging for CL this season.

If he is really ITK, it should be proofed today as he said the media would report fee agreed. Claiming there is a medical tomorrow is risky. If there is no, we know he is KFA.
I Would not declare him a KFA if it slightly overruns & the medical is late.......these deals are enormous not like paying £53k for Denis Law or £200k for Rodney Marsh things today are so complex ......... It will all happen when it's ready & as Tolmie said 20 days remain!

Entitled to your opinion but they both still have massive po

Sorry mate meant to send that to Tolmie. Decent player just think we dont really need him

As I've said before, Pedro would be an improvement on Navas, albeit not a huge improvement, however seeing as we've already got Navas I just don't see a place for Pedro in the squad. A luxury we can't afford, squad restrictions wise, to carry a second right winger.

De Bruynes consultant Patrick de Koster: "Our stand is that no offer for Kevin was accepted and as long as he stays."

"We have a good relationship with VfL. There is no reason why we should submit a transfer request."

I'm angry. FFS

I want to see KHR's face when we unveil KDB, whiney, arrogant prick!
Every chance he and Bayern get, they try to put us down, when we beat them, "it doesn't matter" or we don't have the history etc....
The Wolfsburg manager reminds me of Moyes, when we were trying buy Lescott, badmouthing us in the media, just following the lead of the bigger, dominant club.

I think we've been fairly confident of getting De Bruyne for a while now, so I suspect we probably haven't progressed on an "alternative" option. With Pogba I get the feeling it's an "all or nothing" approach. If we can get a deal together to bring him in then brilliant, if not then we go into the season with what we've got. I don't think we ever, with any real conviction, looked at plan B's for Pogba. Obviously it'll be a bit disappointing, and I do believe we need to address the Pogba type spot in the team sooner rather than later, however for this season, if Yaya can return to his 13/14 form as opposed to 14/15 then we can get through this season without it having too much of an impact. Given we've not progressed past the first knockout round of the Champion's League I think challenging to win it this season will always have been viewed as a long shot in any case. We need to build upon our progress, I think many (inside and outside of the club) would take a Quarter Final appearance this season, and would be delighted with a Semi Final appearance.

This is all getting stupid now lol, wonder what the fecks going on behind scenes. If we have to wait a few more weeks to get KDB and Pogba then so be it
