did someone noticed any tackles from dejong against blackpool?,i don't remember the least time he went down for a tackle or even get close to a player.to me he was scared of been sent off.what about u guys.
That makes three of us talking faeces. I didn't see any clip with de Jong sliding in. I was amazed at the space the middefs were allowing Blackpool and I think that he might have been told to stay on his feet. From the bits I've seen he was quite reluctant to pursue his ordinary game. Those who saw the whole match live might have seen a different de Jong.
Wasn't the usual no nonsence De Jong and if he has been told to calm it down then his game is ruined. You shouldn't take the bite out of his game because this is what he his all about.
He seemed to be reluctant to make a tackle and in the back of his mind he will feel he is now a target for referees.
If this carries on it will be a massive loss to us.
I agree, a very subdued performance from the 'Terrier' like, no nonsense M/F man. Hope he gets that bite back for Sunday, coz we need him to break up the silky flair, disrupt the polished play and ram it hard up the Arse-nal.
