Clichy was on the bench today. Not sure about NDJ - he was sitting in the stands with Patrick Viera and they had a brief chat with Harry Redknapp.

I think NDJ was rested as a precaution so as not to aggravate his knock.Bigger game at spuds next week in my opinion

As far as I know he suffered from a bruised foot from the Swansea game,so if the swelling is still there,he would have had discomfort from wearing boots.
He could have played in slippers our Nige and still frightened the fookers !!
IMO we missed him today,but a result is a result even if we did hang on a little at the end.

I think this is spot on.

Although we did win today, I think the fact that we twice allowed Bolton back into the game shows how important NdJ is to us.

Messers Cook and Marwood, please take not and get him tied down long-term!
