De jong

Re: Nigel De Jong head back to man city?

If we can sign him in the summer, get him back.

The Rodwell/Garcia signings were about as pointless as playing Snooker with a rope.

MANCHESTER CITY may look to capitalise in the January transfer window following the news that Nigel de Jong has been placed on AC Milan’s transfer list.

More than likely a load of shite, granted he will be in no position to play football until next season because of his injury but I for one would Love to see him back!

Shocking, shocking journalism. The epitome of a badly researched, hack job rewrite of an overseas story, with groundless guesswork compounding the errors. Absolute shite. Is this Perrin for real or is it one of the made-up names which papers sometimes use for submitted/agency copy?

Edit: Yes, he is real and he's a Spurs fan

You can make the phrase "sheer crap" out of the letters in Charles Perrin.

Yes there are better players but they are not Nige, he should never have gone

why shouldnt he have? he wasn't good enough to start and when he did he was limited, a great tackler but not a good passer, he wouldnt of made a difference to us in europe this season IMO.

he wouldnt of made a difference to us in europe this season

Dont talk shit. Miles better than Garcia who was utter wank in every CL game he played in.

We would've been way more solid with NDJ in the team.

how would we at all?
I remember NDJ playing against villareal at home last season, he was at fault for their goal, napoli away the game completely passed him by, great player for us but we need better quality than him.

We have missed that pitbull type of player who protected the back four, and allowed Yaya to attack with Silva.

Not sure it would be best to go back for him, maybe we should go with Bobby instincts and go out and by De Rossi.

I think its time everyone let it go now. he left by his own choice and he wont be coming back. I know a lot of you on here used to masturbate over him furiously but its over just like when a relationship ends.

Constant wanking about De Jong reminds me on "Viva Ronaldo" songs by Rags.

Both of them wanted to move, why the hell would anyone love them to tears forever. Yeah, De Jong was loveable character, he was fighter but on the end of a day he didn't want to stay and that's - thanks nige, goodbye.

Why the F*ck did we not offer him more playing time + better contract. Would only lose thousands of pounds and not the millions we forked over for Garcia/Rodwell. He fought for the shirt, something that we should all applaud. Not like Balo or Nasri.
He was offered a new improved contract and he diden´t want to sign, get over it and how can RM possibly promise him more playing time if Gareth, Yaya and Milner out performs him, doesen´t make sense.....

Milner is primarily played on the wing, I have no idea why, ask management, Gareth is ageing, though still quite brilliant, and will need some rest no? Midfield of 3? Nasri/Silva would need to be dropped, but it will most likely be Nasri as he has been wank for us. Point is he could've been offered what I suggested, but club didn't offer him that, only better contract.

How good do you think Nigel is to be offered more money and guaranteed playing time? Lets be honest Nigel started 10/11 games last season in the PL and we won the leauge despite him. Iiirc Nigel started every game or most games in Europe and we diden´t managed to get out of the group. Why coulden´t Nigel fight for a place in the team like everyone else, what makes him so special that he has to be offered more playing time? If you haven´t watched Nigel recently he has been quite poor in a Milan shirt. It´s not easy coming to a new country and new a team, for whatever reason it takes time to settle in. Even though I don´t rate Garcia I reckon he´s going through the same thing, so we have to be patient.
