two things, one De Niro dissapeared after this, he may of been abducted by the WUM police

and two i owe him a drink

Was in a bar in chorlton the other week for a mates birthday, i knew the girl behind the bar so asked her how much a bottle of blue moon would be...£3.50!! All I can say is, I stuck to a normal pint for £2 odd instead and it sounds like it was the right decision going of some of the replies on this thread :)

Seen it in Tesco's... It was horrible. But that's enough about De Niro. The beer was okay.

Just kidding Bill please don't ban me!!! :)

One of the vilest beers I have had the (dis)pleasure to sample, only thing it has going for it is the name.

I think it's great. Strong beer flavour with a subtle fruitiness. Very similar to German weiß biers such as Erdinger, Paulaner and Franziskaner.

Carling or Fosters drinkers might not like it. They have a staunch aversion to any beer that has got taste! :)

Carling, Fosters and Carlsberg should all be banned for pretending to be a lager. Absolutely horrific lagers they are.

Heineken too! All awful piss water!

I'm getting married in America next year, and my wife to be wants Blue Moon to be the beer that is served at the reception to go with the sky blue theme we're having.

Think I picked a good'un!

The beer itself is pretty good as well, I'm a massive fan of Belgian and German WeiBbeers and agree with db82, it does remind me of them.

Can we have a word with the powers that be at City and get them to sell some decent ale somewhere on the premises?
The mass produced slop as mentioned above is an insult to us as discerning individuals.
Much as I want to do my bit for getting the turnover up I really cannot bring myself to drink p*ss at 4 quid a pint.

not a bad Belgian-style "white ale", witbier, whatever... nice on a summer afternoon with some orange juice in it

I'm not a fan of beers with coriander in them. You fella's pay way to much for it though, especially as it's brewed by Coors :(

Just returned from Disney in Florida, had to have a pint of this in Epcot when I saw the name.. it was quite nice once I took the quarter of orange off the top of the glass ;-)
Don't know how to post a pic of this though!
