Simple fact is, in this case one Journalist from Sky tweeted that De Rossi's agent was in Manchester, which then spawned 1000's of tweets, and the story just grew from there, what seems to be happening is the make beleive ITK tweeters are falling over themselves to say it's a done deal (because on the face of it, it seem almost that way given our lack of major signings this season) if it is they will say they are ITK, if not they will just melt away until the next time.

Quite sad but also quite revealing, but it's all good fun as long as you know the game

Exactly, it all works like clockwork. After the last few years of transfer windows, I almost feel autistic in my understanding of HOW the game is played. I still KFA about whats going to happen, but it's the process of the summer dealings (articles, forums, twitter, ITK's blah blah blah.)

i think the best way to be is just take all the itk info with a pinch off salt because if nothing comes of it you'll just be gutted get excited when its bid's accepted or medicals on sky other than that they've signed on the os and u cant go wrong

Not fair enough for me, seen on this thread alone three front page reports from Italian press that the agent was here and that city have placed offers to player and club. Nowt to do with twitter.
