I've often seen Sane doing more tracking back than Sterling. I've never seen him that shy in looking for the ball and making plenty of runs either.

Pep is constantly berating him for not doing so....yes he does it and he is very good at it, but like Mahrez he does go missing in games...Sterling on the other hand whether playing well or not never shies away from games.....sterling has also shown recently that he can be the go to player to grab hold of a game....Sane and Mahrez are rarely this ....they are important parts of the team and play well but try rarely if ever drag the rest of the team over the line....sterling does, Merlin always controls games before this season...kdb goes it and Kun does......that's the level of influence we need and Sane and Mahrez both need to do it as regularly as others

There's no way we signed a player for £38m and then put him on £35k a week. He will have got at least double that minimum.

No way near as much as sterling who comes looking for the ball and responsibility as well as taking responsibility to defend without Pep having to yell at him

I've seen Sane go back to the defense to help many times and because he's the fastest player (KDB said Sane is the fastest) he was able to get back into position when the ball was going forward. The kid is very good and I enjoy watching him when he's on his game. He has a cannon of a left foot. He has not-so good games because he needs the experience. He can't get experience sitting on the bench. Sane could be the future of City and I pray he stays and plays.

Guess it is hurting his pocket a bit when he can't play for those bonuses. Then again i'm sure the signing-on bonus from Bayern will go up the more he runs down his contract.

It looks like we might be getting up to £20mil in commission from Dortmund selling Jason Sancho next month so I wouldn’t rush to try to offload Sane to Bayern. If they want to lay a rock bottom price for Leroy then let his contract run down. We’ve just earnt £70mil from the Group stages of the Champs League.

I also derpsrately wan thim to stay but his inconsistent performances and to me what seems a bit of a poor attitude is what has placed him on the bench....Yes he helps back (ve not said he doesnt) -but there are many times over the previous 2 seasons where Pep had to give him a bollocking from the sideline about his posiiional play in respects to his defenisve duties and also his attacking ones.

There are a lot of stories of bad attitude, i certainly do not know, but he has a winning mentality and is very determined to win, as for performances Sane vs Marhez top performance, overall performance , team work, and defensive work rate, Sane is better than Marhez at everything, as for bollockings how else do you keep a kids feet on the floor

I fully agree he is better than Mahrez....bit compare him to Sterling, Bernardo last season, Kdb ....he is not consistently effective. Like you said, pep bullocks him to keep his feet on the floor (Sane believing himself to be the finished article shows exactly the attitude problem no team needs - and would link with his desire to move away back to a normally 2 horse league (not this yesr) to become the poster boy for German football and get more money).
