I fully agree he is better than Mahrez....bit compare him to Sterling, Bernardo last season, Kdb ....he is not consistently effective. Like you said, pep bullocks him to keep his feet on the floor (Sane believing himself to be the finished article shows exactly the attitude problem no team needs - and would link with his desire to move away back to a normally 2 horse league (not this yesr) to become the poster boy for German football and get more money).

Bernardo and KDB are not wingers, and Sterling has spent a lot of time as a striker but Sane`s defensive duties are superior to Sterling, but this is all about will he or wont he, and i do not believe a word from the Bayern media if or when City decide to remove their contract offer and put him up for sale, then i will believe City, until then i will look forward to the best young front three in football Sane Jesus Sterling, and just as exciting Bernardo Rodri KDB behind them

I can’t agree with you saying sane is superior to tax defensively. Sane loses the ball and 9 times out of 10 spits his dummy out throws his arms in the air and ambles back. Sure sometimes he gets back but then he tries the exact same thing loses the ball and the cycle repeats. For what it’s worth he’s probably my second favourite player after Kev to watch so I’m not after hounding him. He has the potential to literally be the best in the world (pre injury) but he doesn’t seem to have the mentality to take himself there
