That's not great from an established newspaper but nothing compared to the stuff on Rawk which has appalling racist anti-arab content. It's not as bad as Collymore tweeting a picture of a broken snake when Delph suffered serious injury. If he had done that about a Liverpool player it would have been saturated in the mainstream media. I wonder how the Echo tweet was greeted by their colleagues at the Manchester Evening News (they are both part of the same company)

Mendy, KDB, Kompany...they've all gone down and been on the first flight to Dr. Cugat's. It's now 4 days since the injury and he's still sitting at home in Manchester?

Especially if the club doctors were uncertain about the injury, the first thing they'd do would be get the expert diagnosis.

Certainly if he's not there by the weekend, something unusual is going on. I just have a weird feeling this injury might be the sort that keeps him out until September 3rd.

I think it's hillarious watching bayern fans/ media squirm, they are so used to getting their own way they can't handle any set back. Can't bully everyone into giving them their players, hope Dortmund walk the league.

This is the problem with online media. Tweet what you like, take it down, apologise rinse and repeat.

There are some great comments from decent Liverpool (and Everton) fans on the Liverpool Echo apology thread. It shows, that despite all the hatred we have seen, there are still plenty of fair football fans out there. It's a shame their voices are usually drowned out.
 
Just hope this knee injury isn't to serious for Leroy an innocuous knee injury has the potential to drag on and recur again just like it has done with Mendy.

In a way this also could be a blessing in disguise because Bayern certainly ain't going to want to buy an injured player.

I've always enjoyed my visceral hatred of the rags, even through all the years of baconface I felt superior to the ****s and was always happy to take the piss out of them. My hatred of the dippers is of a different order. I always feel the need to have a shower after I hear anything about that bunch of ****ish degenerates. I've wiped better off the sole of my shoe.

Not plenty mate, the majority. Media stoking the flames between fans, and sadly those lacking a number of brain cells on both sides, rise to it.
Personally my disdain for the scumbag journalists is far greater than for Liverpool fans (mostly ;))
