Dear Manchester city ticket office SSL1 safe standing isn't

As others have said unless the title is a misprint then SSL1 Is anything but designated as a family stand, though just recently there seems to be a lot more kids in there.

I know people go on about kids being the future and many dads want to take their kids to a game, but if your little angel has to be fed sweets / play with your phone / get bored in seconds, for the majority of the game then sadly, they are NOT READY, wait till they're older - what I've noticed is that it comes like a light switch, all of a sudden they get invested in City and the game and its result - THEN is the right time.

It states on the OS that South Stand, Level 1, is a safe 'standing' area.

Knowing this, why would anyone buy a ticket for their child in South Stand, Level 1.

If they do buy a ticket, then they do that knowing it's a standing area for the whole duration of the match.

There were empty seats in NSL1, which still is or used to be the family stand.

The club can't really do anything I think, but surely its down to parental common sense? my dad wouldn't take me on the kippax until I was older (not that it mattered in the end as it was knocked down and turned into that monstrosity by the time my growth spurt hit) but i wouldn't have been able to see sod all when it was a terrace, so we sat in the platt lane when I was a child.
In The kippax we all knew the order

Little uns sat on the white perimeter wall, as we grew taller we moved back to eventually having less piss dripping down your steps.

I used to love being a little pipsqueak scuttling about in the Kippax with all the tall people. I didn't see much of the game itself. Didn't do me any harm, i managed to see enough. If only that was nowadays I could have been able to claim some compo. Hmm iv woke up cynical.
This!! In sure if many of us survived being in the kippax when 3 foot nothing and surrounded then today's little people can survive having to bend their necks when they look up from their iPads every now and then

Where dies it say this? I just tried to buy a ticket in SS1 and saw nothing. There was even a warning on the purchase page about opposition fans, but no mention of standing.

When you go through to review your ticket purchase, before you pay for your ticket. You can't miss it. Please note:

That's curious. I've just tried again, and got two warnings popping up. That one AND the other one about opposition fans. They're right next to each other, so feels odd that I missed it :/
