Ireland wasnt good but he wasnt playing in midfield, he was too far up the pitch and looked lost to me. Hes our one creative spark, the only through ball that went through last night was him to Tevez and like i say hes not even playing well. I think you need to play him through his bad form and not persecute a young acadamy player whos always tried for us and was player of the season last season.

Unfortunately we havent got the time, at the moment, to play him throuh his bad form!!!

As last night proved if we try to do that we can kiss goodbye to 4th!!

He looks to me like he needs a good rest,maybe a run in the reserves.Other teams have sussed him out this season they don,t give him time to control the ball and look around for the pass.Consequently he treats the ball like a hot potato and fires it straight back to whoever passes it to him.He was always a luxury player as his tackling is not brilliant so the game seems to pass him by at the moment.

i believe his tackling is technically very very sound, though, for some reason he's not making nearly as many this year.
