Nobody else seems to be complaining about it?

Am I the only one getting a big black debenhams advert across every page on bluemoon??

Its so bloody annoying, has Ric ok'd this?

This is on iPad btw.

And I thought it was just me! It should be at the top of the page but keeps slipping down.

On iPad, it moves when you 'pinch' the screen and release it, but it does happen again.

Bloody frustrating!

Does Ric and/or any Mods know how to cure it??
 
Annoying Debenhams Forum advert???

Hi, I'm using an iPad to browse the forum. Since yesterday, an annoying "Debenhams" advert is popping up all over the place.
Sometimes it is at the top as a normal banner. In posts it is at the bottom, but moves up when I scroll down. When I stop scrolling, it drops down to the bottom of the page.
I'm already limited to how much I can see of the posts with the iPad lower resolution, top tabs and Internet window without a permanent banner advert floating all over the show. it is just too annoying and distracting.

I understand the forum needs adverts to survive, but this is just wrong.
Please tell me this is a fault, as I will not use the forums whilst this is present. Thanks...
 
I've just started a new thread about it. I didn't see this one etc.
It is more than annoying. It is making the forum unusable. Your eyes naturally follow the banner ad as it moves up the screen. It then snaps down as you stop scrolling. I'm not kidding when I say I will stop coming here whilst this form of advert is in use.
Adverts are necessary, I understand this, but not this type!
 
Only just seen this thread, but it's not something I've given the go ahead for. Ill chase it up with the ad company and ask them to remove it, although it might not happen until Monday. Apologies for the inconvenience.
 
Thought it was happening just on my iPad have been trying for the past couple of days to get rid without success!!!
