Decent Pubs in Manchester with a good Beer Garden

With decent weather aproaching dont fancy getting stuck in the Hare n Hounds or Millstone when on a session so help required to have a pint while soaking up a bit of sun .

The Rain Bar, Shambles square pubs, Dukes and the Castlefield pubs, The Abercrombie, Crown & Anchor Hilton Street, The Deansgate. Lots of pubs and bars have a few tables on the pavement around town and the Northern quarter, not always in the sun, Stevenson square bars generally are.

Good advice here.

There's a new-ish Cask as well in New Islington which is good for sun but not a great bar imo

Went castlefield bowl a couple of weeks ago and on the way through that neck of the woods there were a few pubs with decent size beer gardens in them.

Was a bit posh round there for my liking though but like I say, the beer gardens looked decent.

You can sit outside in the sunshiiiine by the waterway at nearly every bar on Canal Street ... so a friend tells me ;-)

It’s a great plan b on a hot day because there’s a shortage of city centre pubs with decent places to catch the sun. It gets the sun most of the day too. It looks a mess but who cares after five pints
