Sometimes when you type in a reply you suddenly realise that the point you were making has been made further up the thread so you delete the text, the next time you come to post something that text is still there, no matter how many times you delete - it seems to only delete if you actually post it then delete.

You need to delete the text, then wait a few seconds/a minute until the page saves and watch for the "draft saved" pop up to show. Then it'll be gone.
If you delete and then leave the page too early it remains there.

Yep, 'Delete Draft' is what they want.Or delete the text hen click on the little disk icon in the text editor bar.
